The strap of the watch, a series of leather links with metal cores connected with brass braces, inspired by World War Two era machine gun ammo belts and Churchill's strong ties to the British military.
The final watch was inspired by coastal forts and World War Two military equipment. The name of the watch was derived from Winston Churchill's nickname, "The British Bulldog".
